The Fantasy of Trees has been a Rotary Club of Grimsby annual fund-raiser for 17 years. Our mission is to raise money for local groups and not-for-profit organizations. We are members of Rotary International: we are people in action, where neighbours, friends and problem-solvers share ideas, join leaders, and take action to create lasting change. With over 1.2 million members and 35,000 clubs around the world, we are always working to better our world.
Right here in Grimsby, the 2016 Fantasy of Trees raised $15,000 through silent auction and lottery proceeds. All our proceeds go to local charities and scholarships. Recipients are chosen for their broad reach into our local community.
Recipients in 2017 will include Big Brothers Big Sisters, Community Living, Grimsby Affordable Housing and West Niagara Adult Learning, Grimsby Library Pre-School Reading Program, Grimsby, Lincoln and West Lincoln, the FORT, Grimsby Life Centre, McNally House, Migrant Workers Dinner, Rose Cottage Visiting Volunteers, Special Olympics, West Niagara Second Stage Housing, and St. John’s Church “Meals on Us” Program.
The Fantasy of Trees is designed, created and staffed by Rotarians and the many friends of Rotary who provide hundreds of hours annually to make Fantasy of Trees a great community event. Come join us and bring your family, friends and neighbours.
